Pre/Postnatal Massage
The body undergoes many changes during pregnancy as well as during/after childbirth. Benefits of receiving prenatal massage therapy treatments can include reduced stress, reduced tension on weight bearing joints, reduced swelling, reduced muscle tension as well as bringing awareness to any postural concerns which may occur during pregnancy. Massage Therapy treatments in the postnatal period can be beneficial to help navigate and maintain the changes your body is experiencing after giving birth. Depending how far along you are in your pregnancy, your therapist will treat you either laying on your stomach, back or side lying with a pregnancy pillow. If you are expecting, please book in for one of our "Registered Massage Therapy: Prenatal" treatments.

Dry Cupping Therapy
Cupping Therapy involves the use of plastic or silicon cups on the skin with the addition of suction through negative pressure (vacuum). This suction from the cups increases circulation which can help decrease myofascial adhesions, relieve muscle tension and promote cell repair. During your cupping therapy treatment your therapist will use a combination of static (not moving) and dynamic (moving) applications of the cups as needed. It is important to note that cupping can cause marks on your skin, this is normal and something your therapist will discuss with you more in depth prior to treatment. Speak with your therapist about including Cupping Therapy in your treatment for no additional cost.
